  1. I love all 3 of these shows. I am so sad about the death of Gary! He was very blunt and had a dry wit about everything and I loved it. Did his dog perish with him in the fire? I will miss them. God bless his family and his tv family! He will truly be missed!! 🙏🏻

  2. i did not know gary mulberger had passed away until i read the comments about him on this site . I was looking forward to seeing him in the next episode,he was the best!I extend my heartfelt sorrow to his family and friends

  3. Port Protection and Life Below Z…best shows on tv. Family oriented…(some iffy language) but what’s new….educational…fascinating…gorgeous scenery. A truly honorable way of life. Will sure miss Gary. He was my favorite. Went out exactly how he wanted to. Said they would take him off the Island in a body bag. They did. Will never be forgotten

  4. One of my very favorite showes. Love all the cast, Curley, Mary, Sam, Squibb, Mat & all the newcomers. Will miss Gary, loved watching him, such a loss to all.

  6. I love Port Protection Alaska! Please release Season 8! I wish Amanda would come back! So sorry about Gary dying in the fire! Who is taking care of his dog? I watch all the different Alaska show but Port Protection is more personal. Kimbe is entertaining & her husband. Always building something! Sam is a superstar & Squibb! Very smart, constructive guys! Please bring it back soon. I’m lost without Port Protection! The only other I watch is Life Below Zero because I love Sue Aiken, Andy & Denise, & Jesse with his huge team of sled dogs that he races in the Iditirod! I like Agnes & Chip but the girls need to marry their babies father’s!

  7. Yes, please renew Port Protection for an 8th Season. It’s is an educational program well worth watching. My entire family tunes in.

  8. I can’t think of a more stressless show to watch. If you want get away from all societies ills that’s the way to do it. Shut off the lights and watch this wonderful show with your family. I watch the reruns. Gary reminds me of my friends. He and I are the same age and back ground. I’ll be seeing you soon Gary…..

  9. I’ve watched all of the seasons of Port Protection many times. I love this show. Please keep making it. It’s the best Alaska show out there!

  10. I love Port Protection & am watching it “On Demand” in addition to recording every season again. Bring back Amanda Makar! I loved her! Curly, Sam, Matt, so sorry about Gary! Hard to believe still. Please keep Port Protection on the air. I love it & watch all the different Alaska Programs!

  12. I have enjoyed watching ‘Port Protection’ from its beginning episodes on ‘National Geographic’ .. hope to watch some new seasons of the show soon..
Curly, Sam & the gang are a joy to watch during these unsettling times around the world.. the program takes me back to a more peaceful time

  13. Please please renew this show!! In a world of Kardashian Kraft it’s so nice to see this reality! I hope you know how many of us love all the folks on this show! Gary was fun to watch. I’m so sorry for his loss.

  14. I love Port Protection Alaska! Please bring back all the Seasons 1 – 8 & new season 9. I miss Gary & Amanda. All the newer members are enjoyable especially Sam & Curly! They’re the life of the show. I’ve recorded & re-watched each episode many times! I feel like I’m part of their family.

  15. Not sure what it is that attracts me, maybe the remoteness, maybe we all want to be self-reliant; maybe we all want to get away from the crime and dependency of urban living? Whatever, I enjoy the show even when someone is just catching a fish or cutting down a tree or planting a garden! It beats most network shows by far!!
