  1. have watched ALL 19 seasons some repeatedly need season 20 of midsomer murders and death in paradise
Please American TV can be so predictable and these two shows are far superior.

      • ITV is Independent Television. It started in competition with BBC. I doubt it’s on cable or satellite here. Neither BBC, BBC1, nor Channel 4 are available here. Very few, if any, non-US channels are available here.

  2. I would have to say that this is the Best Crime Drama TV series next to Luther That I’ve enjoyed watching.I would love to see more high quality crime dramas from the U.K. Keep up the good work, guys.

  3. On my third go round. Too much sci-fi in American series anymore. They also try to put characters in the storyline. I detest that.

  4. I cant wait for season 20 to start. Will keep watching the latter ones on On Demand until we get the new one. This is by far the best program on TV along with Death in Paradise. Please , please dont stop making episodes of these two.

  5. I am beyond excited to find out there will be another season. I love this series so much and have watched all the episodes multiple times. I have searched for other crime shows to fill the void between new episodes but nothing compares to this. The characters, the writing and of course the perfect villages that make me pine for the English c countryside. Long live Midsomer Murders!!!

  6. My husband an I love this show…can’t wait till next year when we can buy the next season. We have all of them we’ve watched several times. We have to wait til it becomes available to purchase here in U.S. it’s not on any channels we have. We love Murder in Paradise also.

    • Try Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Chromecast, or Roku. Each plugs into your TV and gives you access (through the Internet) to streaming services like Netflix. You’ll probably find one service that has Midsomer Murders. I’d be surprised if you don’t.

      • Netflix has 19 seasons. I can only assume it will carry seasons 20 and 21 when they are released. You can also try acorn for only $4.99/mo.

  7. Try the Harry Bosch crime series on Amazon. He is a great character from the series of novels by Michael Connelly. More serious and darker than Midsommer, but I await season 20.

  8. Agree with all of the above. Midsomer Murders is the absolute best, with Murdoch and Death in Paradise making honorable mentions. Keep the superior quality and storyline. Thank you.

  9. I’ve really lost count on how many times I’ve watched this series. At least five times for most of them…only because the last several seasons were not available at the time. I always go back to the beginning when I complete a run-through. It’s one of my favorite TV shows. A few years ago, someone turned me on to Death in Paradise. That is now my OTHER favorite TV series. I watch them all on Netflix.

  10. Midsomer Murders on Netflix was a real ‘find’!! I’ve just finished viewing
all of its 19 seasons and can’t wait for
#20. John Nettles & Neil Dudgeon were & is terrific. All DSs have been
entertaining in their own right. I began watching this well written and acted series because of Gwylim Lee as DS Nelson, but the episodes were so entertaining , I then went to episode 1. Bravo for the Netflix presentation of this series!!!!

  11. 12. I know actors don’t always want to be trapped in a role for a long period if time, but I got hooked on Midsomer Murders when I ordered Britbox in the US. I was sad to see it end I loved it. If the current characters don’t want to come back I wouldn’t be disappointed to see new actors continue this series! It is riveting and get easily hooked to sit in front of the TV all day! 👀

  13. Love Midsomer Murders . I have watched all 22 seasons. I think it’s a fantastic and different crime drama. The characters are great . I watch the series over each night at bedtime. Don’t ask how many times I’ve watch the episodes. Waiting for season 23 and I hope they continue this show for the next 10 seasons . It’s a wonderful series and because of the characters and shows content I don’t mind watching it over and over again . Fantastic writing great plots wonderful characters. One series I don’t want to end . . Keep up doing what your doing . Love all the actors and here’s to a fantastic season 23.

  14. Quote: “How many seasons of Midsomer Murders are there?
As of December 2022, Midsomer Murders has 22 seasons.”

No, from december 2, 2022 there are 23 seasons, with 4 episodes in the latter.
Amazing (to me), that the season is released in Denmark befor the UK, and even before the US (air dec 12, 2022)

And even more amazing is, that you dont know about it?

  15. It is high time those loyal fans for the last 25years watching this on ITV were treated with more consideration. We have all been waiting patiently for the rest of series 22 and series 23. Come on ITV get it onto Teresstial ITV. Not everyone wants or can afford signing up to these streaming channels. 🙄
