A former DEA agent, seeking a quiet life, runs a gift shop in the Philippines. He’s retired early. However, peace is short-lived as his past and connections in local law enforcement drag him back into a world of danger and excitement, a world he surprisingly enjoys.

The show mixes action, crime, and drama. It’s tough for the main character to escape his thrilling past. The series stars Christian Kane, Samantha Richelle, and Arthur Acuña in leading roles.

  3. You would be crazy not to renew this series! It is a 10+ on my list. A great series. One of the major networks ought to pick it up if you drop it. Some of their shows are ready for the dust bin…boring.

    • I so agree with you. This is the best show I’ve ever watched. We were hooked from the first episode. If they cancel this they’re crazy.

      • I don’t understand, I loved this series, he is in another one a new Leverage series, which I find very difficult to watch, but that score was much higher than this great series.

    • I totally agree it’s a 10 PLUS. Dean Devlin is a fool if he lets this run away hit sit in a dusty corner. He screwed up with Leverage Redemption not having Tim Hutton return . He was proven innocent and Devlin killed him off. CHRISTIAN KANE IS ONE OF THE RARE TALENTS. HE SINGS , PLAYS GUITAR AND IS AN ALL OUT ACTION STAR WHO CAN CARRY ANY SHOW BECAUSE HES BELIEVABLE IN HIS ROLES ON ANY SHOW HES ON. The casting of Almost Paradise is genius . His secret to his characters is again that he’s believable !! He’s a huge talent . I watch everything he’s in and his music too. If Dean Devlin screws this up he will be throwing away millions of dollars because Almost Paradise could last more than 6 years easily !

  4. Give it a 10 star rating ,didn’t recognize him from leverage ,another of my favorites, but this show and the perfect actor, make it the greatest, (what to watch gunsmoke ..( My best)or almost paradise ).. Gunshots have more seasons

  8. Great series. Hurry up with season two. So many of us love this show with none to very limited cursing. We are soooo over the foul language. Keep the same characters and similar story lines.

  9. Couldn’t agree more with the comments I have seen on this show. Christian Kane was awesome in Leverage and in the Librarians, and is equally awesome in Almost Paradise. The supporting cast is also excellent, and this show deserves to be renewed.

  10. The last episode had me in tears. Not just the story itself but thinking it could be the last episode ever. That we might not get a 2nd season is cruel. For me the best show since CSI Miami.

  11. I agree with the above comments. Almost Paradise is a big hit in my book and for my husband as well. It has the crime element but the injection of humor and the chemistry of the actors sets it apart, also the martial arts. It is entertaining! Please don’t cancel. Advertise!

Versus the other crap that are at all the other channels I would rather watch this and anything else on TV or anything actually a plot that doesn’t have blood guts and gore please show me something different than that and I won’t watch this but please renew it renew it really knew it

  25. I just recently discovered Almost Paradise. What can I say, it is a good watch and Christopher Kane is always fun. The other main characters are very good and gotta say, Samantha is very easy to look at. With so much cr*p on TV now I sure hope this show is renewed and soon.

  27. I don’t know if I would call “Almost Paradise”, a blockbuster. But it is head and shoulders above shows, Like “The Neighborhood” and “The United States of AL” that are total crap! Please make a least another season, give it a chance.

  33. Just found season 1 of Almost Paradise and can’t get enough of it. I was so sorry to see there were only 10 episodes. I love the characters and it is different from other crime shows. Dean Devlin always makes an entertaining show. Please bring on season 2!

  35. I’m a fan of Christian Kane. This show is on point. I hate that I couldn’t laugh due to my surgery. Episode 5 is my favorite. 🤣🤣. I love the cast as well. I hope we get a season 2. I watched all 10 episodes in two days. I would set my schedule around this show weekly.

  38. We love this show at our house. Christian Kane is believable as a forced retired agent. The police department knows a good asset when they are presented with one. The underlying feeling between the actors on TV works well which supports the series. Please bring it back.

  45. Definitely looking forward to a season 2 of Almost Paradise. This show is engaging, fun, witty, and has beautiful scenery. The supporting cast is excellent and the story lines are interesting and not overdone as with so many of these types of shows. One I will rewatch again. Please, please renew for a second if not third and fourth season!

  46. First to say, I am a senior citizen and was thrilled to watch Leverage Redemption, which revived one of my favorite series, Leverage (5 seasons) after several years. I also loved the Librarians, and found the crossovers between the characters in all Leverage most interesting, as well as the dialog references; on searching for Christian Kane and what he was up to, I discovered Almost Paradise, on youTube interview about the show in the Philippines, and I found it was available on IMDb with ads. on Amazon. Since I do not have cable, and have a family connection with Philippines, I wanted to check it out, especially since so many American companies have outsiourced to that land and all of the customer service reps. are the best, and always so polite and nice. . .so when I heard Christian Kane in the interview talk about the great talent in the series I had to check it out. . .I have one episode left and I agree wioth all the above comments that it is very refreshing to NOT HEAR BAD LANGUAGE and overt sexuality of many flavours in what seems to be a young-people oriented program. I love the choreography, and the beautiful people, and there is just enough humour in the program to give it a “10” in my book, mainly for the relief that a crime show can leave you feeling good after each episode, because there is acually a message to be heard. So, I vote for another season, but if it comes to cable and not the internet, I would have to wait for the DVD. IMDb is ok, but the ads are annoying.

  47. Discovered this show in IMDb today and have binge watched 6 shows already. Terrific story lines with the perfect mix of action, humor, drama and heart! Talented Christian Kane is the perfect choice for the male lead.❤️ Hope to see him accompanied by the rest of the Almost Paradise cast for many seasons to come!

  56. Best show since the original Magnum P.I. I agree with the above comments this needs to be renewed for several more seasons. Christian Kane is great in Leverage and Leverage Redemption. It was awesome finding him as the main character!

  58. The new Redemption episode comes out tomorrow night so we’ll at least get to see Christian Kane again. But I absolutely love Almost Paradise, too. Hopefully he can film both this year.

  60. Started watching this show. I love it. Please give us season two. Three four and more! I love the actors and actresses! Has a great show mixed with comedy and drama .
