CBS has renewed its long-running daytime drama The Bold and the Beautiful for three additional seasons, securing the show’s future through the 2026-2027 broadcast season.
The multi-year pickup ensures the soap opera will continue its remarkable run as one of television’s most enduring daytime series.
“This renewal represents our ongoing commitment to delivering compelling storytelling to our dedicated viewers,” said Amy Reisenbach, President of CBS Entertainment. “For over three decades, The Bold and the Beautiful has remained a cornerstone of our daytime programming.”
Created by William J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell, The Bold and the Beautiful first premiered in 1987 and has since produced more than 9,000 episodes. The series follows the personal and professional lives of the Forrester family and their fashion dynasty in Los Angeles.
The show’s current cast includes Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke Logan), Don Diamont (Bill Spencer), Thorsten Kaye (Ridge Forrester), and Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy Forrester).
Bradley Bell serves as executive producer and head writer for the series, which consistently ranks as the the second most-watched daytime drama in the U.S.
The Bold and the Beautiful has maintained strong international appeal throughout its run, broadcasting in over 100 countries worldwide and drawing particularly large audiences across Europe.
The renewal comes as daytime dramas face increasing challenges in the evolving television landscape, with only three traditional network soap operas remaining on air alongside NBC‘s Days of Our Lives and ABC‘s General Hospital.
