Star Trek Lower Decks Final Season 5 Release Date Announced

Star Trek: Lower Decks will boldly go where many shows have gone before. The Paramount+ series is set to conclude with its previously announced fifth season.

The exact release date this fall remains TBD.

“While five seasons of any series these days seems like a miracle, it’s no exaggeration to say that every second we’ve spent making this show has been a dream come true,” said executive producers Mike McMahan and Alex Kurtzman. They expressed their gratitude towards the cast, crew, and artists for their dedication.

They emphasized their love for Star Trek and the joy of creating the series. The team is currently working on the hilarious fifth season. They also shared that all previous episodes would stay on Paramount+.

Their statement continues, “Thank you for always being so creative and joyful, for filling convention halls and chanting ‘LOWER DECKS!’” They hope the Cerritos crew will continue to have new adventures beyond season five.

Jeff Grossman, Paramount+’s Executive Vice President of Programming, added his thoughts. He praised the contribution of Secret Hideout and the talented casts and producers to the Star Trek universe.

Grossman is excited for the upcoming season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. He also commended Star Trek: Lower Decks for bringing humor and heart to the franchise.

Star Trek: Lower Decks focuses on the support crew of one of Starfleet’s least important ships. The voice cast includes notable names such as Tawny Newsome and Jack Quaid.

The announcement of the final season follows the news of a fourth-season renewal for Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.
