NBC Renews Shows for 2024: Chicago Fire, Law and Order SVU

Great news for fans of NBC‘s #OneChicago franchise! And, well, pretty good-ish news for those who follow its *Law & Order* series.

NBC made a big announcement on Thursday. They’ve decided to renew *Chicago Med* for its 10th season. Not stopping there, *Chicago Fire* is coming back for season 13. And *Chicago P.D.*? Yep, it’s returning for its 12th round. As for *Law & Order*, it’s been greenlit for season 24, with *Law & Order: SVU* hitting an impressive season 26.

But here’s the rub. The Christopher Meloni-led *Organized Crime*, currently in its fourth season, is hanging in the balance. An NBC spokesperson mentioned the show is “still in discussion” for the 2024-25 season. So, fingers crossed?

Oh, and about those ads that pop up everywhere? Yeah, they’re still around. Sometimes, right in the middle of an article. Annoying, right? But, hey, that’s the internet for you.

2024’s looking packed with renewals and cancellations. Want the full scoop? There’s a list out there with all the details.

NBC’s #OneChicago lineup has a prime spot on Wednesdays, from 8 to 11 pm. Then, the *Law & Order* trio takes over Thursday nights. Same bat time, same bat channel. But, it’s not all smooth sailing. Both franchises have seen some key departures this season. *Chicago Fire* said goodbye to Kara Killmer. And *Law & Order*? Sam Waterston left, with Tony Goldwyn stepping in to fill those big shoes.

All these renewals have been updated on the 2024 Renewal/Cancellation Scorecard. So, which show’s comeback are you cheering for the most? Let’s hear it!
