Josh Waring, known from Real Housewives of Orange County, has tragically died. He was just 35 years old.
His mother, Lauri Peterson, shared the heartbreaking news on Instagram. She didn’t specify a cause but hinted at his battle with substance abuse.
Peterson wrote, “It is with a shattered heart that I write this post to let you know that my sweet Josh left this earth Easter Sunday.” She described his lifelong struggle.
Josh’s childhood was filled with joy and adventure. Peterson reminisced about his “deep intellect, humor, pranks, and love for music.”
Despite his adult hardships, Josh remained optimistic and kind. He always stood up for those who couldn’t defend themselves.
Peterson expressed gratitude towards those who supported Josh. She hopes he has found the peace he deserves.
Andy Cohen, Bravo‘s boss, extended his condolences. He praised Peterson for her efforts to save her son and for raising awareness about addiction.
Peterson was an original RHOC cast member. Her and Josh’s strained relationship was a central theme.
