Candiace Dillard Bassett Leaves Real Housewives of Potomac

Candiace Dillard Bassett is waving goodbye to *The Real Housewives of Potomac* after a six-year stint. This news hit the headlines on Monday, thanks to a confirmation from People.

“After six remarkable years with *The Real Housewives of Potomac*, I’m turning the page,” Dillard Bassett shared. She’s grateful for the growth and friendships she’s found along the way. “With new opportunities knocking, it’s time for a break from *RHOP*,” she added.

Joining in Season 3 as the former Miss United States, she’s now stepping back. However, she hints, “This is not goodbye but see you later.” Fans, she says, have her heartfelt thanks.

An ad break might’ve popped up here, if we were doing that sort of thing. But let’s keep rolling.

“Your support has been my beacon,” she tells her fans. She’s excited for what’s next and promises to share her new adventures.

Dillard Bassett isn’t leaving the *RHOP* universe just yet, though. She’ll be on the reunion couch with Andy Cohen and the gang. They’ll dissect a season of ups and downs on March 31 at 8/7c on Bravo, with more to follow in April.

Over in the *Real Housewives of Atlanta* realm, Kandi Burruss, Marlo Hampton, and Sanya Richards-Ross are also exiting. They announced their departures as Season 16 looms.

Are you bummed about Dillard Bassett’s departure? Let’s chat in the comments.
