The Interceptor is a crime TV show created by Tony Saint and is produced by BBC Drama Productions and BBC Worldwide. The show stars O-T Fagbenle, Lorraine Ashbourne, Lee Boardman and Charlie de Melo. The Interceptor first aired on BBC One on June 10, 2015. So far, there have been one seasons. The series currently has a 6.2 out of 10 IMDb rating based on 928 user votes.

Unfortunately, BBC One has officially cancelled / ended the series. There are no plans for season 2.

Series plot

The series is about a Customs Officer, Marcus Ashton (Ash) who is recruited to a new law enforcement team tasked with hunting down some of Britain’s most wanted criminals. The series is inspired by the book of the same name which details the career of former customs agent Cameron Addicott, written by Kris Hollington.
