  1. I really enjoy this program. I find the culture of another country intriguing because it I can’t predict the outcome of the situation. I can’t wait for it to return.

  2. Love the sexual tension among the various characters and the idiocy of some and the deep thinking of others. Too much gratuitous sex amongst the teenagers – stick to the adults having intercourse! Can’t wait for the release of season 4.

  3. 800 Words has the message that we Americans so need. It is a wonderful show with “family truth”
as its base. I eagerly look forward every Thursday night for this week’s episode. PLEASE DO NOT
CANCEL THIS SHOW. Barbara Gregor, November 6, 2018 4:01 PM

  4. I eagerly look forward to this show every Thursday evening. This is a show of solid, ethically
moral, family values which we in America sorely need in today’s PC environment. Please do
    not cancel this show.

  5. What a show, fantastic writing and acting, made my day ,raised the bar high for other programs every day on tv.missing it lots hurry back soon 😊.

  6. BBC Tv repeated the series during lock-down, this year, and we really enjoyed 800 Words. The comedy helped us to laugh out loud and the plots kept us interested in the characters. It took our minds off the plight we are in at the moment – light relief! Thank you to the writers + producers who really did a good job and to all the actors – we loved your interpretations. Flawless!! I’ve always wanted to visit New Zealand, so had vicarious travel with this series !!
Sad there will not be another series, but less is more??

  7. More Please !!
Great writing for great characters how does this not go on ! Sign them up for more shows please. American shows are sucking , this hits the spot and great for America’s new awakening post covid 19 .

  8. I bought my Acorn subscription for another show but I kept it for this one after very fortunately stumbling upon it!!! Serendipity as people in Weld would say. Best show ever!!! I would pay per episode or season for this one and I have never felt that way. I love the family dynamic and it is just worlds ahead of all our entertainment in America!!! I am pretty sad that there are only 3 seasons. It feels like this could be a legendary run show with how beloved it is, would love for there to be 20 seasons, not 3!!! The writing is top notch, the acting is so natural and enjoyable, the tension is just right – not too much, not too little – very intriguing. I laugh out loud, I cry, then it’s more laughs… PLEEEEEEEEAAAASE bring this gem back for at least another 5 or more seasons!!! Also, whoever is in charge of the surfing scenes, excellent job!. A great perspective as someone who surfed when younger and then when you get back out there after many years…. perfect angles and line-up shots, not pretentious or overdone, just in that sweet spot and love the gorgeous scenery. So happy he didn’t just pop up and ride the perfect wave like some cheesy movie, love the way his surfing struggles and progress coincided with his life struggles and progress. Also it was kind of fun pretending that Jack Bauer got a really sexy accent and moved to NZ teehee :). I mean Erik and Keifer are definitely lost twins lol. Love to the whole cast and crew for this joy inducing production much needed at this time in life 🙂
