Westworld was one of these shows that achieved international fame, and now Bong Joon-ho’s Snowpiercer has been made into a television series that is the talk of the town. Not many are aware that the film, and subsequently the series, is inspired by a French graphic novel, Le Transperceneige, which was published in the 1980s.
Snowpiercer, the television show, is the story of a 1001 cabin-long train that runs across the world. However, it is no ordinary world, as the temperatures outside are so cold that they can freeze a body within seconds. The challenge that arises is the class-divide that exists on the train, creating several problems between the first-class and the people living in the tail. Although the series has received mixed reviews, it remains one of the most unique plotlines on television right now, with a perfect mix of drama, mystery, suspense, science fiction, romance, and philosophy all rolled into one tight package.

With a supposed serial killer on the loose, the management of the train appoints an ex-detective, living at the end of the train, to find the culprit.
