Peacock has officially greenlit Twisted Metal for a third season, with the video game adaptation set to continue under new creative leadership.

Twisted Metal, based on the popular PlayStation vehicular combat franchise, has become one of Peacock‘s standout original productions since its debut. The action-comedy series stars Anthony Mackie (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier) as John Doe, a motor-mouthed outsider tasked with delivering a mysterious package across a post-apocalyptic wasteland.
The series has maintained strong viewership numbers throughout its second season run, contributing to the network’s decision to move forward with additional episodes.
