– Reubens’ representatives confirmed his good health
Contrary to rumors circulating on social media, actor and comedian Paul Reubens, known for his iconic character Pee-wee Herman, is alive and in good health. His death was falsely reported, sparking confusion and concern among fans.
Reubens, 69-years-old, became a victim of a death hoax that tricked many into believing he had passed away. In response to these rumors, a representative for Reubens spoke to “TVLine,” stating: “Paul delights in the knowledge that he is very much alive.”
The talented actor stormed into the entertainment scene during the early 1980s with the creation of his comic character, Pee-wee Herman. He gained immense popularity courtesy of The Pee-wee Herman Show, which ran on HBO. In 1985, Reubens starred in the critically acclaimed film Pee-wee’s Big Adventure, directed by Tim Burton.
Despite the temporary setback following an arrest in 1991, Reubens eventually returned to the screen and continued to play a variety of roles in movies and TV shows. He even revived the Pee-wee character in a 2016 Netflix film, “Pee-wee’s Big Holiday.”
Reubens’ fans can take solace in the fact that he remains alive and well, despite the baseless rumors of his death.
