Paramount+ has renewed Tulsa King for a third season, the streaming service announced Tuesday.
The Sylvester Stallone-led crime drama will continue its run following strong viewership performance in its sophomore season, which is currently streaming on the platform.
Tulsa King stars Stallone as Dwight “The General” Manfredi, a New York mafia capo who rebuilds his criminal empire in Tulsa, Oklahoma after serving a 25-year prison sentence. The series marks Stallone’s first major leading role in a television series.
Taylor Sheridan serves as creator and executive producer of the series, adding to his growing slate of content for Paramount Global that includes Yellowstone, 1883, 1923, Mayor of Kingstown, and Special Ops: Force.
“The continued success of Tulsa King is a testament to the brilliant creative vision of Taylor Sheridan and the remarkable talent of Sylvester Stallone,” said Jeff Grossman, Executive Vice President of Programming at Paramount+. “We’re thrilled to continue this journey for a third season.”
Season 2 of the series also features Martin Starr, Andrea Savage, Jay Will, Max Casella, Vincent Piazza, Garrett Hedlund, and Dana Delany.
Production details and premiere date for the third season have not yet been announced.
