Trump Refuses Harris Debate Rematch

The first debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris on Tuesday might be their last.

In a Truth Social post on Thursday, Trump shouted in all caps that there won’t be another one: “THERE WILL BE NO THIRD DEBATE!” Earlier this year, Trump debated Joe Biden, who later dropped out and backed Harris as the Democratic candidate because of his poor performance.

But Harris doesn’t agree. During a speech to her supporters in North Carolina on Thursday, she said, “I believe we owe it to the voters to have another debate. Because this election and what is at stake could not be more important.”

Their first debate on Tuesday was moderated by David Muir and Linsey Davis from ABC News. According to a poll, 74% of people thought Harris won, while only 25% thought Trump did. Right after the debate, Taylor Swift shared on Instagram that she’s supporting Harris.

Fans think it’s crucial to see another debate.

The viewership numbers back this up too. The first Trump-Harris debate had over 67 million viewers across all networks, which is a 31% jump from the Trump-Biden debate in June.

So, do you want to see another face-off between Trump and Harris? Or have you already made up your mind? Share your thoughts in the comments!
