Alan Cumming should get ready for more fun with his stylish berets, as The Traitors is here to stay.
Even before Season 3 airs, Peacock has already renewed the reality show for Seasons 4 and 5, with Cumming returning as host.
The double renewal follows the show’s second season, which earned four Primetime Emmy nominations this summer for directing, cinematography, hosting, and Outstanding Reality Competition Program.
The Traitors started on Peacock in 2023 and takes contestants to the Scottish Highlands. They team up to complete missions and add to a prize pot that can reach $250,000. However, hidden among them are Traitors chosen by Cumming. Each night, these Traitors “murder” a Faithful player, aiming to make it to the end and grab the prize for themselves. Meanwhile, the Faithful try to uncover the Traitors and eliminate them from the game so they can share the prize money at the end.
We love how intense and thrilling this show is!
The first season mixed reality TV stars with fresh faces. Season 2 switched things up by featuring only celebrities. Season 3 is set for early 2025 with a cast that includes Rob Mariano from Survivor, Gabby Windey from The Bachelorette, and Chrishell Stause from Selling Sunset.
