Hallmark Channel has renewed The Way Home for a fourth season, the network announced Tuesday. The renewal comes ahead of the Season 3 premiere, which is slated for early 2025.
The multigenerational family drama stars Andie MacDowell (Groundhog Day), Chyler Leigh (Supergirl), Evan Williams (Versailles), and Sadie Laflamme-Snow (The Apprentice).
The Way Home follows three generations of women from the Landry family who discover a unique ability to travel through time via a pond on their property. The series explores how this supernatural gift impacts their relationships and understanding of family history.
“We’re thrilled to continue the journey of the Landry women for a fourth season,” said Lisa Hamilton Daly, Executive Vice President of Programming at Hallmark Media. “The incredible performances from our talented cast and the show’s compelling storytelling have resonated deeply with our audience.”
The series has become one of Hallmark’s most successful original dramas since its January 2023 debut. Season 2, which concluded in April 2024, averaged over 2.2 million viewers per episode.
Executive producers Heather Conkie, Alexandra Clarke, Marly Reed, and Arnie Zipursky will return for the upcoming seasons. The show is produced by Neshama Entertainment in association with Hallmark Media.
Season 3 production is currently underway in Toronto. The network has not yet announced a premiere date for the fourth season.
