Netflix is bringing back Guy Ritchie’s action-comedy, The Gentlemen, for another season, as they announced on Wednesday.
Fans can look forward to seeing Theo James and Kaya Scodelario return for eight more episodes, playing Eddie Horniman and Susie Glass again. Ritchie will continue as writer and director with Matthew Read co-writing. We’ll find out the rest of the cast soon.
In the first season, Eddie Horniman unexpectedly inherits his father’s large estate, only to find out it’s part of a cannabis business. The official description says, “Moreover, a host of unsavory characters from Britain’s criminal underworld want a piece of the operation. Determined to extricate his family from their clutches, Eddie tries to play the gangsters at their own game. However, as he gets sucked into the world of criminality, he begins to find a taste for it.”
The first season also featured Daniel Ings, Joely Richardson, and Giancarlo Esposito.
Sometimes we need shows that don’t take themselves too seriously and just let us have fun.
