The popular Netflix series, “Stranger Things,” is likely to have a fifth season, and may continue even further. As per the show’s executive producer, Shawn Levy, fans can expect more after Season 4, which is set to premiere in 2022. In a recent interview, Levy revealed that Netflix and the show creators, the Duffer brothers, are currently “figuring out the exact shape and soul of their further entanglements.”
Levy added, “There is indeed a Season 5 plan, but it goes beyond that.” Talking about the excitement around expanding the story of “Stranger Things,” he said, “We are all very excited about the contours of what’s planned for the back half of the series.” Though no concrete plans have been shared yet, the confirmation that the show will go on, following the much-awaited Season 4, is sure to have fans excited for the future.
Reportedly still working on special effects and visual details for Season 4, Levy also shared some tidbits about the upcoming season. He divulged that fans will “get answers to questions that have haunted them since the first episode,” leaving viewers eager to see where the story of the spooky Indiana town will go.
While an exact release date for Season 4 is not announced, it is currently in the final stages of production. Fans have been waiting patiently since Season 3’s July 2019 release, and with the assurance of more seasons to come, there’s a lot to look forward to in the world of “Stranger Things.”
