Snowpiercer Season 4 Final Release Date Announced by AMC

The fourth and final season of “Snowpiercer” is on its way to AMC. This news comes 14 months after TNT decided to pass on airing the dystopian drama’s last hurrah. Producer Tomorrow Studios was left scrambling for a new platform.

Thursday brought confirmation. AMC has snagged exclusive U.S. linear and streaming rights for all four seasons. The first three seasons are set to premiere on AMC+ later this year. Season 4 will hit AMC and AMC+ in early 2025, though the exact date is still up in the air.

“Snowpiercer is a thrill ride,” said Ben Davis, an executive at AMC. He praised its loyal fanbase, likening it to those of AMC’s biggest series. Davis expressed excitement about introducing the series to new viewers. He’s particularly keen on the upcoming fourth season, led by new showrunner Paul Zbyszewski and a stellar cast.

Paul Zbyszewski shared his excitement too. He’s grateful that “Snowpiercer” has found a new home at AMC. He thanked everyone involved for giving the show’s fans a chance to see Season 4.

Back in July 2021, TNT had greenlit Season 4 of “Snowpiercer,” even before Season 3 aired. However, five months later, the network announced Season 4 would conclude the series. Shortly after, Seasons 1-3 were removed from Max.

Season 4 will introduce new characters played by Clark Gregg and Michael Aronov. Their roles are still under wraps. Zbyszewski, known for his work on “Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.” and “Helstrom,” has taken over as showrunner.

When TNT dropped “Snowpiercer,” they praised the show’s team for bringing its post-apocalyptic world to life. They expressed a desire to help the series find a new home for its fans. They also looked forward to future collaborations with the producers.

Tomorrow Studios’ leaders, Marty Adelstein and Becky Clements, expressed their love for “Snowpiercer.” They believe Season 4 will entertain viewers while tackling issues like climate change and class warfare. They’re determined to find the perfect partner to conclude the series on a high note. And now, it seems they have.
