Orphan Black Echoes Cancelled by AMC

Hey Clone Club, here’s some sad news: Orphan Black: Echoes has been axed after just one season.

This show, set in the future and sharing the same universe as the original series, won’t be returning. The story delved into scientific manipulation of human life and followed a group of women uncovering their identities amidst love and betrayal. Krysten Ritter starred as Lucy, a woman with a mysterious origin trying to find her place.

Other actors in the cast included Keeley Hawes, Amanda Fix, Avan Jogia, Rya Kihlstedt, and James Hiroyuki Liao.

Anna Fishko was the mastermind behind the series, working with Ritter and others like David Fortier, Ivan Schneeberg, Nick Nantell, Kerry Appleyard, Katie O’Connell Marsh, and John Fawcett from the original Orphan Black team.

The show premiered in June with ten episodes. The final episode aired on August 25th and now serves as the series finale. We’re all feeling this loss deeply.

Sometimes we just can’t catch a break with our favorite shows.
