Nobody Wants This Renewed For Season 3 At Netflix

Netflix has officially renewed Nobody Wants This for a third season, the streaming giant announced Wednesday. The romantic comedy series starring Kristen Bell and Adam Brody will continue following its successful second season run.

The renewal comes just eight weeks after the show’s second season premiered to strong viewership numbers and critical acclaim.

“We’re thrilled to continue the story of Joanne and Noah for another season,” said Bela Bajaria, Chief Content Officer at Netflix. “The audience connection to these characters has been remarkable.”

Nobody Wants This follows Joanne (Bell), a skeptical podcast host, and her unlikely romance with Noah (Brody), a rabbi with progressive values. Their relationship navigates cultural differences, family expectations, and career challenges.

The series was created by Erin Foster, who serves as executive producer alongside Bell, Brody, and showrunner Steven Levitan (Modern Family).

Season 2 expanded the world of the show by introducing Noah’s extended family and exploring Joanne’s professional growth. [Spoiler Alert] The season ended with the couple facing a significant crossroads in their relationship.

Production on the third season is expected to begin early next year with a targeted premiere date in late 2024.

The show has become one of Netflix‘s standout comedy series, joining other renewed titles like Emily in Paris and The Upshaws in the platform’s growing comedy lineup.
