Netflix Renews Forever, Four Seasons and 6 More Shows: Final Season Updates

Netflix announced Wednesday a slate of eight series renewals, with one popular drama set to conclude with its upcoming season.

The streaming giant has renewed Forever, Four Seasons, The Diplomat, Outer Banks, Sweet Tooth, Heartstopper, Cobra Kai and Selling Sunset — though Sweet Tooth will end with its third season.

The Diplomat, starring Keri Russell (The Americans), will return for a second season. The political thriller from creator Debora Cahn follows a career diplomat thrust into a high-stakes international crisis.

Season 4 has been confirmed for Outer Banks, the teen adventure series created by Josh Pate, Jonas Pate and Shannon Burke. The renewal comes just weeks after the the third season premiered.

Heartstopper, based on Alice Oseman’s graphic novels, has secured both third and fourth seasons. The coming-of-age romance stars Kit Connor and Joe Locke as Charlie and Nick navigating their relationship through high school.

Cobra Kai will return for a sixth and final season. The Karate Kid sequel series starring Ralph Macchio and William Zabka has been a consistent performer since moving to Netflix from YouTube in 2020.

Reality series Selling Sunset has been renewed for seasons 7 and 8, continuing to follow the high-end real estate agents at The Oppenheim Group.

[Spoiler Alert] Sweet Tooth, the post-apocalyptic adventure based on Jeff Lemire’s DC Comics series, will conclude with its upcoming third season. The series stars Christian Convery as Gus, a part-human, part-deer boy navigating a dangerous world.

Premiere dates for the renewed series will be announced at a later date.
