Lincoln Lawyer Season 3 Release Date Revealed, Neve Campbell Teased

This fall, The Lincoln Lawyer is returning to Netflix.

On October 17, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo’s Mickey Haller, known as “Los Angeles’ best defense attorney,” will face his toughest challenge yet in Season 3 of the legal drama.

Netflix has shared several photos from the new season, including a shot of Mickey with his first ex-wife Maggie in the premiere episode. Interestingly, Neve Campbell didn’t come back for Season 3 as a regular cast member.

The Lincoln Lawyer, based on Michael Connelly’s books and brought to TV by David E. Kelley, follows Mickey Haller. He’s a unique lawyer who works out of his Lincoln car, handling all kinds of cases in Los Angeles. Ted Humphrey and Dailyn Rodriguez are the co-showrunners.

Here’s what we know about Season 3 so far, including the characters and storyline…

The third season is inspired by Michael Connelly’s novel “The Gods of Guilt,” which is the fifth book featuring Mickey Haller.

Published in December 2013, “The Gods of Guilt” follows Mickey as he defends Andre La Cosse (called Julian in the show and played by Devon Graye), a digital pimp accused of killing Gloria Dayton (played by Fiona Rene), an old friend of Mickey’s.

Fans are excited to see how this unfolds!

Returning for Season 3 are Manuel Garcia-Rulfo as Mickey, Becki Newton as Lorna (Mickey’s second ex-wife), Jazz Raycole as driver Izzy Letts, Angus Sampson as investigator Dennis “Cisco” Wojciechowski, and Yaya DaCosta as prosecutor Andrea “Andy” Freemann.

Neve Campbell will appear as Maggie but not as a regular. Elliott Gould returns as mentor David “Legal” Siegel. Devon Graye is back as Julian La Cosse. Fiona Rene reprises her role as Gloria Dayton, and Jon Tenney returns as Mickey Sr.

New faces this season include Merrin Dungey as Judge Regina Turner, John Pirruccello as prosecutor William Forsythe, Wolé Parks as David Lyons (Julian La Cosse’s partner), Michael Irby as DEA Agent James De Marco, Maisie Klompus as Annabeth Stephens (a neighbor), Allyn Moriyon as fitness enthusiast Eddie Rojas, Philip Anthony-Rodriguez as Chief Deputy District Attorney Adam Suarez and Krista Warner as Mickey and Maggie’s daughter Hayley.

Neve Campbell’s character Maggie won’t be a regular this season because her storyline wrapped up in Season 2 and she isn’t part of the book that inspired Season 3. However, she does appear in one of the first-look photos for the premiere episode.

The new season premieres on October 17 with ten episodes just like the previous seasons.

No news yet on whether there will be a Season 4.
