King Charles Release Date Announced: Gayle King and Charles Barkley talk show coming to CNN

A new weekly talk show, King Charles, is poised to premiere on CNN’s upcoming streaming service, CNN+. The show will be hosted by CBS Mornings’ co-host Gayle King and NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley and will feature meaningful conversations with notable guests from various fields such as sports, politics, and entertainment.

In a statement about the show, King said, “This power duo of King and Charles will be must-see TV – trust me on that!” Barkley added, “I am really excited about this new adventure and looking forward to sharing amazing stories and experiences with Gayle and our guests. Let’s roll, Gayle!”

CNN+ is part of the network’s efforts to expand its online presence, and the platform will offer live, on-demand, and interactive programming. Alongside King Charles, CNN+ is also set to feature other new content such as The Stelter and the and After Party, hosted by Brian Stelter and SE Cupp, respectively.

The streaming service is due to launch in early 2023, while the exact premiere date of King Charles has yet to be announced.
