‘Django Unchained’ and ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp’ star Walton Goggins has joined the cast of ‘City Primeval’, a new series coming soon. It is based on the novel of the same name by Elmore Leonard. In the series, Goggins will play Clement, a criminal on the run after committing a heinous crime.

Graham Yost, the creator of ‘Justified’, another TV series adapted from Leonard’s novels, has signed on as an executive producer for ‘City Primeval’. Goggins received rave reviews for his role as Boyd Crowder in ‘Justified’, which premiered in 2010 and ran for six seasons.

City Primeval, like many other novels by Elmore Leonard, features an array of intriguing characters and thrilling sequences. Readers are captivated by the characters discovering their own moral compass and walking on the line between good and evil.

In the novel, Clement is a Detroit-based criminal who escapes to New York after viciously murdering a judge.
