Walton Goggins is set to reprise his role as Boyd Crowder in the upcoming limited series “Justified: City Primeval.” Goggins’ character will team up with Timothy Olyphant’s Raylan Givens in the latest installment of the acclaimed FX drama series.
“Justified: City Primeval” is based on the Elmore Leonard novel “City Primeval: High Noon in Detroit,” in which the two main characters join forces to tackle an enemy who has evaded the law for far too long. According to reports, Goggins and Olyphant’s characters will form an uneasy alliance as they work together to bring the criminal mastermind to justice.
The series is executive produced by Olyphant, Goggins, Graham Yost, Sarah Timberman, and Carl Beverly. Peter Leonard, Michael Dinner, and Dave Andron will also serve as executive producers, with Dinner taking on the role of director. Meanwhile, Goggins and Olyphant will also serve as producers for the limited series, ensuring their involvement in all aspects of the show.
The original “Justified” series ran for six seasons on FX from 2010 to 2015 and garnered critical acclaim for its well-developed characters, sharp dialogue, and thrilling action sequences.
