LAPD officers responded to a call about an Assault with a Deadly Weapon-Shooting. When they arrived, they discovered Wactor with a gunshot wound. They tried to help him, and the Los Angeles Fire Department also came to assist, but sadly, Wactor died at the hospital.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner confirmed that Wactor’s death was due to a gunshot wound to the chest and ruled it a homicide.

Wactor became known in daytime TV in 2020 when he started playing Brando Corbin on General Hospital. His character came to Port Charles as Gladys’ son and later married Sasha but was eventually killed by Heather Webber.
