Two very familiar faces will be returning to the Jeopardy! stage as hosts for the show’s 40th season, Mayim Bialik and Ken Jennings. The show’s executive producer, Michael Davies, has confirmed that both Bialik and Jennings will be hosting during Season 40 of the popular quiz show, which starts on September 12, 2022.
The producers of Jeopardy! are still in search of a full-time replacement for the late Alex Trebek, who passed away in November 2020. Despite this ongoing search, Michael Richards, the show’s executive producer, is confident that both Bialik and Jennings will be valuable additions to the Jeopardy! family for the time being.
Previously, both Bialik and Jennings have taken turns hosting the show, with Bialik hosting prime-time specials and spinoffs and Jennings serving as an alternate. Their return to the show has garnered a positive response from fans and contestants alike.
“We are incredibly lucky to have Mayim and Ken back with us as we head into Season 40,” said Davies in a statement.
