Harry Wild Renewed for Season 5 at Acorn TV

Acorn TV has renewed mystery series Harry Wild for a fifth season, the streaming service announced Tuesday.

The Jane Seymour-led drama will return for eight new episodes, continuing the adventures of retired literature professor Harriet “Harry” Wild who has developed an unexpected talent for solving crimes.

Seymour, who also serves as executive producer on the series, will reprise her role as the titular amateur sleuth alongside returning cast member Rohan Nedd, who plays her unlikely young partner in crime-solving.

“We’re thrilled to bring Harry back for more mysteries,” said Catherine Mackin, Managing Director at Acorn Media Enterprises. “The audience response has been exceptional, and Jane continues to bring such wonderful energy to the character.”

Harry Wild follows the formerly retired academic who discovers she has a knack for investigation after recovering from a mugging at her son’s home. The series has become one of Acorn TV‘s most popular original productions since its debut.

Production on season five is scheduled to begin in Dublin later this year, with the new episodes expected to premiere in 2025.

The series was created by David Logan, with executive production from Seymour, Logan, and Daniel March. The fourth season is currently streaming on the service.
