We have a feeling GloRilla’s backup dancer is in for a big bonus soon.
During the MTV Video Music Awards on Wednesday, GloRilla brought the house down with her performance. She started with “Yeah Glo!” and seamlessly transitioned into “TGIF,” but then something unexpected happened.
While the cameras were off for a moment, they came back to show GloRilla sitting center stage, holding her top with one arm. She didn’t let it faze her and kept performing like a pro. A quick-thinking dancer on her right noticed and rushed to help her keep the top in place until the end of the song.
Fans love when artists handle mishaps so smoothly.
This year’s VMAs had a lineup full of big names. Besides GloRilla, there were performances by Anitta, Benson Boone, Camila Cabello, Chappell Roan, Eminem, Halsey, Karol G, Lenny Kravitz, Lisa, LL Cool J (who also hosted), Megan Thee Stallion, Rauw Alejandro, Sabrina Carpenter, and Shawn Mendes.
