Emily In Paris Renewed For Season 6 At Netflix

Netflix has officially renewed Emily in Paris for a sixth season, extending the popular romantic comedy series’ future well beyond its upcoming fifth season.

The streaming giant announced the early renewal Thursday, demonstrating continued confidence in the Lily Collins-led series created by Darren Star (Sex and the City, Beverly Hills 90210).

This renewal comes before the fifth season has even begun production, signaling Netflix’s long-term commitment to the show.

Emily in Paris stars Collins as Emily Cooper, an ambitious American marketing executive navigating career challenges and romantic entanglements in the French capital. The series has become one of the platform’s most reliable hits since its 2020 debut.

The fifth season — expected to premiere in 2024 — will continue following Emily’s professional growth at the fictional Agence Grateau while exploring her complicated relationships with Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) and Alfie (Lucien Laviscount).

Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Ashley Park, Camille Razat, Samuel Arnold, Bruno Gouery and William Abadie round out the ensemble cast.

Star serves as showrunner and executive producer alongside Tony Hernandez, Lilly Burns and Andrew Fleming.

Streaming metrics indicate the series remains one of Netflix’s top performers in the comedy category, particularly with international audiences. Season 4, which premiered in two parts earlier this year, consistently appeared in the service’s global Top 10.

Production details and premiere timeline for the sixth season have not yet been announced.
