Cole Hauser, renowned for his role in the hit TV series ‘Yellowstone,’ has taken inspiration from his cowboy persona to establish a coffee brand of his own. The actor launched a coffee company called Free Rein Coffee Company, boasting four distinct and unique blends.
The idea of starting a coffee company came to Hauser while riding horses and herding cattle on his ranch property. He recollects, “I’m sitting on my horse, going, ‘I’m going to start a coffee business. I’m going to call it Free Rein.’ It just came to me in the wind.”
He then took his time molding the idea and eventually partnered with some coffee industry veterans who helped him formulate the right blends. The four blends, which have been given captivating names like ‘Rip’s Reserve’ (named after his TV character) and ‘Newman’s Jack,’ are currently available on the company’s official website. Hauser reveals that the naming of the blends was highly inspired by his professional and personal life.
Free Rein’s blends are sourced from ethically traded and environmentally friendly sources. The brand also aims to give back to the community by donating a portion of the proceeds to charity. Some of the profits go to one of Hauser’s favorite programs, the PATH International Equine Services for Heroes program, which offers therapeutic horse riding experiences to U.S. military veterans.
Apart from starting a coffee company, Hauser continues to savor success with his ongoing role in ‘Yellowstone.’
