– CBS announces premiere dates for its 2022-2023 season
– The season will be delayed due to production challenges from COVID-19
– Hit shows like “NCIS” and “Young Sheldon” are part of the lineup
CBS has released the premiere dates for the 2022-2023 season, with the schedule experiencing delays due to difficulties surrounding COVID-19 production. The lineup includes popular shows such as “NCIS” and “Young Sheldon.”
The premiere dates reveal that series like “Magnum P.I.,” “Blue Bloods,” and “SWAT” will also grace our screens during this season. However, the release was noted to be delayed as the network continues to navigate around setbacks caused by the ongoing global pandemic.
Despite the challenges, some shows like “The Amazing Race” and “Survivor” have already premiered earlier than expected, while other programs like “Seal Team” and “Undercover Boss” have yet to make their debut.
CBS Entertainment president Kelly Kahl acknowledged these setbacks, stating, “Our traditional rollout has seemingly been paused, as we all continue to weather the challenges of COVID. As we look ahead to the upcoming season, we remain energized by the incredible talent constantly joining CBS.”
These challenges faced by CBS also resulted in shortened seasons for some of its series in the previous year. Nevertheless, the network is optimistic as it continues to push for a traditional rollout and deliver quality content to viewers.
