Amazon is saying goodbye to Bosch.
The journey that started with Bosch back in February 2014 will wrap up with the third season of Bosch: Legacy, coming to Prime Video in March 2025.
Michael Connelly announced on Instagram that the third season of Bosch: Legacy is “our best yet” and also the final one, marking the end of a decade with Titus Welliver’s portrayal of Harry Bosch.
He added, “But fear not,” because there’s a new show about Renée Ballard starring Maggie Q, which will premiere on Prime Video and Freevee in Fall 2025. “And if you know anything about my books, then you know you have not seen the last of Harry Bosch!”
Connelly praised everyone involved, saying they were “the best people up and down the call sheet — actors, writers, directors, producers, and all the crew tried to make something special.” He emphasized how lucky he felt with Titus Welliver playing Harry Bosch, calling it magic that fueled ten seasons. “None of this would have happened without the first name on the call sheet: Titus Welliver.”
Fans love how these series have brought characters to life.
Vernon Sanders from Amazon MGM Studios said that Bosch and Bosch: Legacy have been essential for Prime Video, Freevee, and Amazon MGM Studios for a decade. He highlighted how these shows are proof of Michael Connelly’s powerful storytelling. Sanders expressed pride in the impact they’ve made and excitement for more stories from Michael, Titus, Henrik, and the creative team. The final season of Bosch: Legacy and the new Ballard series are just a part of what’s to come.
