Anna Delvey won’t be making an appearance on The View anytime soon.
After Thursday’s episode where the panel criticized ABC for casting Delvey on Dancing With the Stars, she fired back with a harsh public response.
Whoopi Goldberg and Alyssa Farrah Griffin were particularly vocal, accusing Delvey of receiving special treatment from ICE. They pointed out that she was allowed to travel to Los Angeles for the show despite being on house arrest in Manhattan. They also mentioned that she still owes money to those she defrauded, a story that was highlighted in the Netflix series Inventing Anna.
“While you are entitled to your own opinions, you should at least get your facts straight,” While you are entitled to your own opinions, you should at least get your facts straight. I served my time and paid everyone back in full 3+ years ago. Looking forward to your on-air correction.
Earlier this week, Delvey was announced as a participant in Dancing With the Stars’ Season 33, joining other celebrities like Tori Spelling, Phaedra Parks, and Jenn Tran.
Fans sometimes think these shows just want drama more than anything else.
