All American Renewed for Final Season at The CW: Air Date Revealed

The CW has officially renewed All American for what will be its final season, the network announced Thursday. The popular football drama will conclude with its upcoming seventh season, scheduled to premiere in 2025.

The series, which follows the journey of high school football star Spencer James (Daniel Ezra), has been a consistent performer for the network since its debut in 2018.

All American has been a cornerstone of our programming lineup, and we’re proud to give this beloved series a proper conclusion,” said Brad Schwartz, President of Entertainment at The CW. “We’re committed to delivering a final season that honors the show’s legacy and gives fans the resolution they deserve.”

The decision comes amid the network’s ongoing programming strategy shift under new ownership.

Executive producer Nkechi Okoro Carroll will continue to oversee the final season alongside the current writing team. The series has garnered critical acclaim for its exploration of race, class, and the pressures of athletic excellence.

While the exact episode count has not been announced, sources indicate the final season will likely consist of 13 episodes — consistent with recent seasons.

All American stars Daniel Ezra, Taye Diggs (Private Practice), Samantha Logan, Michael Evans Behling, Cody Christian, Karimah Westbrook, and Monet Mazur. The series has also spawned a successful spinoff, All American: Homecoming, which is currently airing its third season.

The sixth season of All American is currently airing Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW, with its season finale scheduled for May 2024.
