“Days of Our Lives” director, Albert Alarr, has been released from his position following an internal investigation into a report filed against him by a member of the production team. The allegations detail verbal and emotional abuse, which allegedly took place during the filming of the long-running soap opera.

Although NBC and Corday Productions have not officially provided a statement, it has been reported that the decision to terminate Alarr’s employment resulted from the investigation into these claims. The extent of his alleged misconduct has not been detailed.

During his time with “Days of Our Lives,” Alarr directed over 450 episodes. He also received three Daytime Emmy nominations for his work on the show. Although a replacement has yet to be announced, the production team is expected to fill the position soon.
